Who I am and what I do

Hello, I'm Matthew, I have been a Carpenter for over 20 years, I have a lot of experience and knowledge in all aspects of woodworking and other trades, I understand the science of Wood and how it acts.

I specialise in Bespoke and restorative work.

All of the hardwood we use for furniture making and timber framing is locally sourced from a nearby sawmill, all of the timber is of exceptional quality and full of character.

I like to look at the raw timber and see each piece's potential.

I take a lot of inspiration from Japanese joinery and carpentry methods, following many of the principles found in Japanese woodworking really helps in my work quality and organisation.
